Launch Evening

On 24th September, Heavenly Footwear had its official launch in conjunction with a Hospice Coffee evening to raise much needed funds for North Tipperary Hospice. We set up a Marquee at the back of the house where we served some hot food, cakes and drinks. The place looked well especially with the lights and there was a great buzz. I was delighted with the attendance. Its always the fear that when you organise something like this, that nobody would show but thankfully they did and we raised €440 for the Hospice. On the night, we got people to sign in and we picked a name out of a hat for a beauty voucher kindly sponsored by Louise Bradshaw Evans of Grace & Beauty.Bernie a neighbour won it and was delighted.
Some ladies were disappointed that I didn’t stock their size but the whole idea and ethos of Heavenly Footwear is that I want to provide shoes for women with large feet like me and shoes for small women. Its really important to get the message out there because I can’t go into any shoe shop and buy or try lots of shoes but for those of you out there like me, come and try even if you don’t buy. Just enjoy the opportunity to try on lots of shoes that fit!
